Jamie graduated from Brighton University in 2013 with a first-class honours degree in Building Surveying and began his practical training with a consultancy based in London, primarily acting on behalf of a large housing association.
In this role Jamie gained valuable experience in providing a wide variety of services, including specific defect and damp diagnosis surveys, listed building/planning applications and maintenance planning. During this time, he also oversaw several refurbishment projects in London and the surrounding areas, completing Party Wall and Contract Administration duties.
Jamie joined Acorn Surveyors in 2017, where he successfully qualified as a Chartered Member of the RICS and shortly thereafter was appointed a co-director of the company. He now focuses on residential pre-acquisition surveys and Party Wall matters in Brighton and Hove, Horsham and across the south east. Jamie is also a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.
