Richard Hammond
AssocRICS Surveyor
Richard started his property career by obtaining a Law degree from the University of Surrey in 2011. He then worked for a nationwide provider of mortgage and surveying services gaining valuable asset-management experience. In this role he dealt with the end-to-end sales process for corporate equity release clients and gained familiarity with survey reports. He quickly progressed to their in-house training programme to become AssocRICS qualified in 2022 and undertook mortgage valuations for various High Street Lenders.
Seeking a broader involvement in surveying, Richard joined Acorn in 2023, where, in addition to his valuation skills, he is developing his building pathology knowledge and report writing skills, by conducting Level 2 surveys and assisting with Level 3 surveys.
Richard is also working towards completing his APC with the RICS, with a view to achieving full chartered status.
